WuJu Korean BBQ
About This Spot
Walking into WuJu Korean BBQ in Lynnwood settles you into a warmly inviting, unpretentious space where the rhythm of guests gathering around sizzling grills shapes the energy. The atmosphere strikes a comfortable balance—lively without ever feeling rushed, as attentive staff glide between tables with quiet ease, ensuring moments unfold naturally, whether you’re here for a casual meal or a small celebration.
The air carries the subtle, enticing aroma of marinated meats and simmering broths, a prelude to the thoughtful culinary experience ahead. Tables equipped with grills become small stages for connection as friends and family share the joy of cooking their own beef brisket or pork belly, layering flavor with each turn of the meat. The variety of banchan—those delicate, tangy side dishes—add color and texture to the meal, inviting you to explore a spectrum of tastes with every bite.
While the focus is clearly on Korean barbecue, the menu quietly weaves pieces of tradition and comfort—from hearty soups to the satisfying crispness of fried chicken—that make the experience feel both rooted and inclusive. Whether you’re savoring a rich galbi tang or discovering new favorite bites like spicy beef bulgogi or japchae, there’s a grounded attentiveness to quality and flavor that elevates the entire meal.
WuJu is a place where the pace slows just enough to enjoy meaningful meals without distraction. The staff’s genuine hospitality lends a sense of ease; you might find yourself lingering past closing time, drawn in by the welcoming spirit as much as the food itself. It’s the kind of local spot where familiarity grows over repeated visits, and where the simple act of sharing grilled meat around the table feels quietly special and real.

All the food was great!! My friend had gotten married and we went to celebrate at this place, they attended us so well, they made us a good place, we were able to cook the meats on a grill that was on the table, the place was closing at 9, however all the staff were patient with us and allowed us to stay for another hour, it was amazing how they behaved with us. Thank you guys!! I would recommend this place at 100.

I’ve been coming here with friends and/or family for years. Some of the dishes have changed but the quality of food is always delicious and service of staff is always welcoming and excellent ! (Shout out to our faves Nancy and Jeanie!) The prices can be a lot for newcomers or people that prefer AYCE. However to me it’s worth it, especially if I’m coming in with a group of 4 or more people and we usually ask for substitutions that staff are willing to accommodate This is a go to for celebrations, catching up with friends, and delicious banchan! I always recommend Wuju

The meal was lovely, being solo I did not eat at a grill table, so I did not cook my own meat like those around me. The wine pork belly was excellent, and the numerous sides just made my day...I had to limit my rice intake to make sure I could properly enjoy them all. Service was friendly and attentive, I even got a few pointers that might allow me to convince my wife to let me pickle daikon at home again someday. From the outside the restaurant seems unassuming, inside the vibe is pretty decent, from the menu, extensive soju selection, or K-Pop videos on TV...overall quite enjoyable. The Entree prices are not cheap, but the food was quality and theu continued to offer refills for the sides, which honestly were some of my favorite part, especially the kimchi and picked daikon.

Came around 1:30 and got a seat immediately. The interior is simple, but the service was really nice — they brought us two cups of hot tea right away. We ordered the LA galbi and a small army stew. The BBQ portion was generous and the meat was thick and tasty. The army stew was good too. They served seven kinds of banchan (side dishes). The japchae was delicious, but unfortunately it was sold out when we tried to get a refill. The other sides were also quite good, though portions were on the smaller side. Overall, good service and solid food, would come back again for the BBQ!
